This year's Spirit of '45 contingent was led by Girl Scouts under the leadership of Linda Shudy Lecomente, who were supported by several Boy Scout troops, several as young as 6 years old - a truly grassroots movement to preserve and honor the legacy of service of America's Greatest Generation. Thanks again to Seward Johnson Atlelier and U-Haul for providing the Spirit of '45 Day "float" featuring the famous "Times Square Kiss" of August 14, 1945.
